It's wintertime in Maine. It's cold. If you're like us, you probably have your heat blaring so it's toasty and warm inside your humble abode when you return from a hard day's work, school, or whatever it is that you do! Still, we understand the importance of coming home to a warm house/apartment when temperatures plummet. Unfortunately, heating a living space has become more and more pricey over the years, especially considering we live in a climate where heat is often times necessary for 4-6 months out of the year.
It's officially the holiday season! We're only a few short days away from Christmas, and if you're like us, you've still got a little bit of shopping to get done. Christmas is a time of great joy and celebration, but it can also be a great burden! Rather than getting stressed about spending copious (your 5 cent word of the day) amounts of money, here's a few quick tips that will ensure you won't be left out in the cold...we hear it's frightful...but that fire is so delightful.
